The anticipation surrounding The Game Awards has been intense, especially after host Geoff Keighley posted an enigmatic image of a desert monolith. The secret has now been solved. Larian Studios is developing a fresh Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a bold trailer featuring striking imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to scenes of revelry and the very unleashing of hell.
A Different Direction
Anyone expecting Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian warned that a follow-up to its beloved RPGs is not currently in development.
Nevertheless, the developer described this new Divinity as a evolution of the main series. This distinction suggests that the team might be designing a more action-oriented experience rather than another turn-based title. For now, we can only guess, as only a teaser video is available.
